Where to get Sentry Guns inMW3Zombies
There is, unfortunately, only a single guaranteed method to get Sentry Guns inMW3Zombies, and it is a bit random sometimes. That method is to purchase the scorestreak from the various buy stations throughout the massive Urzikstan map. Unfortunately, there is no way to add the Sentry Gun to your loadout since scorestreaks aren’t part of loadouts in Zombies.
That said, it gets a bit more complicated than simply heading to the buy station and picking up a Sentry Gun for 2,000 Essence points. You need to verify to be in a medium or high threat level area of the map, indicated by the colored circles. There is a chance you will be able to find a Sentry Gun in the buy stations there, but you may have to check a few before you find it.
Another way to find a Sentry Gun is by searching through the supply crates in the medium and high-level areas of the map. This is also completely random and not exactly reliable, so I don’t recommend relying on it. The final method is to complete contracts. The eight different contracts occasionally give scorestreaks like Sentry Guns as a reward, but again, this is a pretty unreliable method.
How to use Sentry Guns
Once you have a Sentry Gun in your inventory inMW3Zombies, it is time to make full use of it. You want to press right on the D-Pad to pull the Sentry Gun out. You then want to place it wherever you like in the world. Once you do this, the Sentry Gun will activate automatically and start blasting away all of the undead enemies it notices.
The Sentry Gun works on its own, so you could think of it like another squad member in a way. It is extremely powerful and can take care of dozens of zombies in no time. However, it only lasts for a short time, so some players like to carry around multiples of these in their backpacks so they can set them up in quick succession.
The best time to use a Sentry Gun is when you have a point to protect, such as in the Outlast contracts or when you are trying to exfil from the match. They can be a great way to stay alive against the endless swarms of undead.
