If you only watch one trailer today, make it this one forDoodle Jump. I don’t say that lightly. The popular mobile game has made its way to Xbox 360, of all places, and requires Kinect because it seemed like a good idea at the time. A family-friendly game for a device that families apparently love? Makes sense.
But it wasn’t a good idea. Roaming families will, as evidenced by the trailer, break into your home while you’re away so they can play more of that sweet, sweetDoodle Jump for Kinect. Part of me is willing to accept that the video’s creators are fully in on the joke — that they acknowledge and then embrace the absurdity of these promotional videos. I don’t know what to think anymore.
