Are your writing skills as sharp as your hidden blade? They’ll need to be if you want to playAssassin’s Creed Syndicateat San Diego Comic-Con. It’s a jam-packed show, and only the most qualified of assassins get a chance at stabbing in Victorian London.
While Ubisoft certainly has thatotherAssassin’s Creedstuffto keep convention-goers busy, actually playing the game is a coveted prize. Doing so is part of theAssassin’s Creed SyndicatePlaytest Road Show, and it requires sending Ubisoft a 100-word essay describing your experience with the series. Applications should be emailed to[email protected]by anyone who’s free and eager to play on this upcoming Saturday.

Ubisoft hasn’t said how many will get a chance to go hands-on with the demo. It’ll likely be as many as they can shuffle in and out throughout the course of a day. If it’s the same slice I played at E3, it’s between ten and fifteen minutes long. I took the exact opposite approach from those who try it at San Diego Comic-Con, though; I played first andthenwrote an800-word essay about my experience.
