It seems increasingly likely that 2K Games is about to once again lift the curtain on theXCOMfirst-person shooter. We don’t specifically know whynowis the right time — perhaps the game has changed direction again and is now far enough along to go public, orEnemy Unknown‘s success played some part in its continued financial support — but theevidence speaks for itself.
A new video, set in 1962 based on its title, has surfaced. This comes from the same account that has been linked with earlier coverage ofXCOM‘s would-be re-reveal. Of special note are the words “APR 26” and “2K” at the 0:16 mark. If true, at least we’ll get this over with before long.
