Sega’sKingdom Conquestis a big deal in the mobile gaming world. This free-to-play RPG has 1.3 million user accounts online already. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s a really nice strategy/dungeon crawler. Totally worth your time.

The PlayStation Vita could see a similar game. The team behindKingdom Conquest, including producer Masayoshi Kikuchi, are now working on an upgraded version for PS Vita. This week’s issue of Famitsu says that this new game,Samurai & Dragons, has the core gameplay ofKC, but will have a new interface and controls for Vita.

“you may keep playing by yourself,” Kikuchi told Famitsu, “but the game’s basically set up such that players naturally interfere with each other. That’s why we chose the Vita as the target system — it’s a portable platform that’s always connected to the Internet.”

Great news.Kingdom Conquestis a great game, soSamurai & Dragonsshould be just as good, if not better. It does have the better name.
