But hold your breath for Fillion
TheUnchartedmovie project has gone through many iterations, each seeming as unlikely as the last. But the current director attached to the film, family movie director andStranger Thingsexecutive producerShawn Levy, seems quite confident that the video game adaptation will finally happen.
Speaking toThe PlaylistaboutStranger Thingsseason 3, Levy offered an update on the progress forUncharted.

I mean, as of right now, the closest to the starting line is “Uncharted” in that it’s a massive title. We now have a very good script and we have our star in Tom Holland. That is now subject to schedule and additional casting. But I would say as of right now, that seems to be the most near horizon. And it’s a movie I’m very excited about.
The current version of the project is due to haveSpider-Man: Homecomingstar andguy who doesn’t feel good, Mr. StarkTom Hollandas a younger Nathan Drake. But to the disappointment of many, myself included, we’ll never see theNathan Fillion fan filmmaterialize as anything more than what we already have.

There are still no dates for a start to production or for release, so despite Levy’s optimism, this could all go south, like, two days from now. What a world we live in, for theSonic the Hedgehogmovieto be closer to reality than anUnchartedfilm.
