Apparently ‘filled with bloody murders’

Indie-kid Kan Gao successfully turned a lot of heads with his dramatic and heartrending 2011 releaseTo the Moon. Now it seems Freebird Games is preparing to take players on another psychological trip with their next release,Impostor Factory.

Gao has released a single image, featuring a silhouette of a fairly regal looking woman, framed in a doorway. Along with this image came a video of the game’s beautiful-but-disquieting theme tune. In the description, Gao simply states “It’s only logical that this next title from Freebird Games will be filled with bloody murders.”

It sounds likeImpostor Factorymight have a very different theme fromTo the Moon, though I’m expecting the same minimalist approach and symbolism to be in full effect. We’ll find out “one day” – the apparent release window forImpostor Factory– currently in development for unknown platforms.
