Yep, that’s Onett
In just a few short weeks,Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers have managed to re-createHyruleandPokemon‘s Pallet Town. It’s just incredible what people have done thus far, but this creation from Twitter user koumepo is yet another S-tier level triumph.
As a lot of old school JRPG fans might recognize (or newcomers by way of the eShop, or evenSmash Bros.fans), the below clip showcasesEarthBound‘s Onett in all its glory. The creator even went above and beyond, wearing Ness cosplay while running around the majority of the town they crafted, showing us the 1:1 re-creation of the road (and details like stop signs and manhole covers) with some Easter eggs to boot (I see Sans hiding in there! And David Letterman’s favorite hologram!).
Are these going to be the newZelda: Breath of the Wildvideos? Maybe not. But I’m enjoying the sweet little pleasures right now.
