The Koroks ofTears of the Kingdomare seen as adorable creatures by some, while others find them to be nothing but annoyances. The latter group has made a sport out of torturing the Koroks by fusing them onto contraptions and putting them in the most horrific situations.
One player has started a collective project that utilizes Link’s Ultrahand to create a machine that is putting the littluns in the worst situation possible. On the/r/tearsofthekingdom subreddit, the top comment on threads made by/u/Dif_The_Chaoticgets to decide what to add next to the machine

Reddit users are making the ultimate Legend of Zelda Korok torture device
It’s been going on for six days now, and each addition showcases just how much you’re able to do inTears of the Kingdomwith a little creativity and the right items. It started with a single Korok fused to a fan. The following day, another Korok was added to the fan. On day four, a Hudson cutout was stuck to the creation.
Things got interesting on day five when a stabilizer was added, andthe next day a homing cart was fused. The poor Koroks are now on a machine made mobile by a fan and a homing cart, and the Hudson cutout adds even more humor to the situation. It’s hard to predict what will come next, though it seems a rocket is collecting the most votes, spelling trouble for the poor Koroks.

There is no DLC planned forTears of the Kingdom, but projects such as these demonstrate just why that isn’t necessarily a problem. It feels like the kinds of contraptions you’re able to create are limitless. You’re also free to approach the game as you please, either helping the Koroks or abusing them in the most absurd ways.
Do you have some ideas on how to make life worse for the Koroks? Join in the daily threads and throw in your suggestions. As many have discovered, there are a few items that are only found in shrines but can be used elsewhere if you have Autobuild. This is useful for some more complex ideas, such as anATV that is capable of tackling vertical terrain.
