Nexon Games has officially announced the release date and available platforms forThe First Descendant, their upcoming third-person looter-shooter, at Summer Game Fest 2024. The game’s launch is approaching sooner than you’d expect, as it’ll be available on PC, PS, and Xbox consoles next month. The game is free-to-play on launch with both single and multiplayer capabilities.
The First Descendant‘s Summer Game Fest trailer also revealed more information about its story and gameplay, emphasizing its co-op support, the introduction of the grappling hook, and, well, plenty of shooting. At least you know you can zip, shoot, and fly around its sci-fi world to your heart’s content.
The First Descendantwill launch on PC viaSteam, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on July 15, 2025. You’ll be able to play it on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, alongside Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Alternatively, if you’re a bigger fan of PC, you may download it on Steam this July. Be sure to clear your calendar for this time soon, as you won’t have to wait long for its release.
