YES. After beingleakeda few weeks ago, it wasofficially confirmedyesterday that Frank West will be playable in the upcomingTatsunoko Vs Capcom: Ultimate All Stars, much to our delight. We got a quick peek at a few of his moves in the opening video that accompanied that announcement, butonlya peek.
Now, thankfully, we’ve got a direct-feed video of a full round of gameplay to show you. Here you’ll get a good look at what to expect, and I gotta say, some of Frank’s attacks are looking pretty vicious. His move list looks to be inspired by Shoma Sawamura fromRival Schools, with a dash of Jill Valentine alaMvC2. Golf clubs, baseball bats, zombies falling from the sky, and a super that starts with a Servbot helmet and ends in pure punishment.

A lot of it is made up of the moves Frank could pull of in Dead Rising as you level up, like swinging enemies around by their legs. Be sure to note the camp voice calls upon execution, like “Real Mega buster!” and “Deeeeead Rising!” during his Shoma-like home run attack.
There’s also a second video above showing off Tekkaman Blade, who looks to be a total badass in his own right.Tatsunoko Vs Capcomwas nothing but fun when I got my hands on it at this year’s Otakon, and these great new additions can only make it better.Ultimate All-Starswill see a worldwide release on the Wii early next year, hitting North America on January 26, Japan on the 28th and Europe on the 29th, with worldwide online play all around.
