When word aboutTekken Card Tournamentfirst got out, it seemed to me like it could easily have been a quick side project for Namco Bandai. I didn’t expect it to get this kind of treatment — just look at the embedded trailer to see what I mean. Real effort was put into its creation, and it sounds as if people are digging this turn-based fighting game.
Tekken Card Tournamentisavailable as of todayfor iOS, Android, and browsers. Unsurprisingly, it’s a free-to-play title with real-world cards set to appear on store shelves this year. I’m not particularly intoTekkenor trading card games, but the unlikely combination of these two things has somehow resulted in a game I feel is worth trying out. The gameplay is straightforward, though that’s not necessarily a negative.
