The real Episode IX
As a a holiday gift toSonic the Hedgehogfans, Sega has surprise released a new entry in its ongoing series of animated shorts featuring Sonic and his pals. This new episode – which features Chao of theSonic Adventureseries – is particularly adorable.
The four-minute clip sees a sleepwalking Chao imagining itself as an intergalactic space fighter, (neatly depicted in a retro-looking, ’90s animation style), Back in the waking world, Sonic must keep the Chao from getting into trouble, while a Holiday variant of ol’ meanie Dr. Robotnik attempts to steal the blue blur’s presents.
Eh, I don’t wanna ruin it, check it out for yourself, particularly its surprisingly brutal climax!
