Emphasis on theRumortoid. A supposedly leaked scan from this week’s issue ofFamitsushows what looks to be information on an “enhanced” version of Square’s infamous classic, saying that it’s headed for the DS. While there are plenty of you out there who may alreadyNOThaveChrono Triggeron yourNOTDS, the prospect of something like this is still pretty exciting, huh?
A translation of the scan roughly reads as “Square’s classic fantasy RPG comes to the Nintendo DS, winter 2008.” It then goes on to say that a price point has yet to be decied and all that sort of super-interesting nonsense. So is it real? Faked? And just how enhanced is “enhanced?” I suppose we’ll know for sure when this week’sFamitsuis released.
