It’s been a long wait forMax Payne 3, so what’s a couple more months? The game will be missing its March release date, and is now scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 15, followed by a PC launch on May 29.
Moving such a big-name game back has resulted in Take-Two Interactive forecasting a loss for the fiscal year. “We do not take changes to our release schedule lightly, and this short delay will ensure thatMax Payne 3delivers the highest quality, groundbreaking entertainment experience that is expected from our company,” states Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
It’s reassuring to see some restraint in gunning for short-term objectives. And a PC version that isn’t coming months later? Progress!
