Ragnarok n’ roll!

XSEED Games has today nailed down the release date forRagnarok Odyssey, confirming that the spin-off handheld adventure will hit the PS Vita on October 30.

While not a player ofRagnarok Online, I’ve been getting steadily more pumped forOdyssey. It’s far more my speed, and I’m not one to refuse a promising PlayStation Vita game. Seems that a few of those have been popping up lately — I hope it gives the system a boost.

Odyssey’s physical version will be available as a $49.99 “Mercenary Edition,” featuring 10 in-game Monster Cards, a soundtrack CD, and a 96-page guide book. A regular version will be downloadable via PSN and physically obtainable for $39.99.
