Clean Sweep
FuturLab’s unique and strangely compelling rub-a-dub-dub titlePowerWash Simulatorhas officially welcomedseven million playersto its hot water action — as opposed to its hot, water action — since its release in the summer of 2022.
Originally released on PC and Xbox platforms, with PlayStation and Nintendo Switch ports arriving earlier this year,PowerWash Simulator is something of a first-person-shooter with a difference, as players race to clean up a series of grubby locales with maximum efficiency. These stages range from suburban homes and playgrounds, to cleaning vehicles such as speedboats and a Mars Rover. Players found the jet-washing action both satisfying and relaxing, which has led to the title’s success.
