Warframe: 1999’sintroduction of Protoframes, cyberpunk baddies you’re able to date in-game, has proven to be one of the update’s most popular additions, but not only can have a relationship with them, you can also play as them with a special new series of skins: Gemini skins.
Before you pick a skin, you’ll want tocheck out the romance system, decidewhich characters are your favorites, and work onleveling up your relationships. Once you’ve fallen for someone, though, you may want to pick up their skin, so here’s how to get Gemini skins inWarframe.
What are Gemini skins in Warframe?
As mentioned above, Gemini skins are skins that let you play as the Protoframe characters introduced inWarframe: 1999— Aoi, Eleanor, Lettie, Arthur, Quincy, and Amir. However, you can’t just equip these skins on any Warframe, as they’re each tied to the following specific frames:
Though the Gemini skins are tied to specific frames, they will work on any version of the frame. you may switch between your Protoframe and your Warframe during a mission by using the corresponding emote, and the emote can be used on any frame for the animation.
As you’d expect, you can customize a Gemini skin to your heart’s content; although, some accessories (like Quincy’s earrings) can’t be colored or changed by design. Since you can swap between your Warframe and Protoframe, you can fashion frame twice as much with these skins.
How to get every Gemini skin in Warframe
Unfortunately, there’s no in-game way to get a Gemini skin, so you will have to spend Platinum or real money. Of course, you can farm Platinum yourself just by playing the game in a variety of ways, but the easiest, most direct way to do that is by cracking open relics and trading Prime parts.
When you buy a Gemini skin, you’ll also get the corresponding emote. You can buy Gemini skins individually, or you can purchase them all together in a bundle. There are bundles sold for both Platinum and real money, but you can only buy individual Gemini skins with Platinum.
