Battlefield 3is reportedly banned in Iran, which is hardly surprising because it is Iran. Whatissurprising, however, is that Electronic Arts thinks the suppression of its product may be agoodthing, because it could help stop piracy. Iran’s Combatant Clergy Association is ensuring that street vendors don’t sell the game, due to controversial content set in the country’s capital city. Over 5,000 young Iranians have reportedly signed a petition against it, claiming that the material is harmful....

EA has been ramping up its music release for the past few years since launching EA Recordings in order to release games’ soundtracks on their own. Thelatest threeto hit the market will be for their three biggest games coming out in the next months:Mass Effect 2(Jan. 18),Battlefield: Bad Company 2(Feb. 1) andDante’s Inferno(Feb. 8). It’s most likely that all three albums will be released as digital downloads via iTunes. As far as the releases go they all seem pretty intriguing....

I have half a mind Lululu Entertainment hasrevealed their next game,Henry Halfhead. This sandbox puzzle game is looking to release next year. Casting you as the titular half-headed Henry,Henry Halfheadgives you the ability to possess objects. The trailer demonstrates Henry possessing a pair of safety scissors to slice up an apple, which is impressive. I could never even cut craft paper with those. My second thought is wondering if I could jam those scissors into an electrical socket....

It’s almost half over! The Batgirl DLC is out today forBatman: Arkham Knight, but only if you paid up and bought the $40 Season Pass. For the rest of you, it’ll be available next week piecemeal for $6.99. Like I said in my review, it’s…okay. It’s nice to get a break from the Batmobile and romp around in some freeflow and Predator sections, but WB games Montreal (who developed the DLC) really didn’t do anything special with it....
