Games as a spectator sport When I was a kid in the ancient days of the early ‘90s I was part of a church youth group. Obviously this was before I morphed into a surly, foul-mouthed teen (and then an even more profane adult). Mega Man Zero Collectionis set to hit the Nintendo DS on June 8 here in North America. The collection will retail for $29.99 and will include all four of theMega Man Zerogames that were released for the Game Boy Advance. National Mushroom Day Back whenI first playedMushroom 11, more than a ago at PAX East 2014, it was a cool concept. Sega just dropped the third developer diary forAliens: Colonial Marines, featuring members of the team at Gearbox Software. Purporting to be about the tension and fear found in the storied franchise, by the second half of the video they move on to highlighting locations the player will visit and the impactAlienshas had on games. This game is still six months out? It seems like we’ve been talking about it for an eternity already at this point, but Jim still seems highly eager so I guess the sheen of excitement hasn’t managed to ebb away....

Along with Pokemon Sword & Shield, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Ultimate Alliance 3, ‘and more’ Before today,Nintendo just had one event confirmedin terms of E3 2019 streams: Tuesday at 12PM ET. Today they’re expanding things a bit with three more streams. Once again a Treehouse Live segment will follow up the aforementioned Direct, which will, as in previous years, likely further detail the games revealed at E3 and deliver some smaller reveals of their own (typically smaller titles and things like amiibo figures or add-ons are perfect Treehouse material)....
