After spending the past two days with theWii U version ofCall of Duty: Black Ops II, I have found all my worries about the GamePad’s ability to handle fast-paced first-person shooters melt away. In fact, I may now consider the Wii U my go-to console for future FPS games … when I’m not playing on PC. I was worried that the stiff analog sticks of the GamePad would make precision difficult, especially given thatNinja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edgefelt somewhat unwieldy at times....

Even thoughCivilization V: Gods and Kingsis technically a DLC add-on tothe originalCiv V, you may now play theGods and Kingsdemoon Steam as a standalone experience. In case you’re wondering what’s different,Gods and Kingsadds nine new civilizations, new wonders, and new scenarios/units (including one scenario that basically recreates the beginning ofGladiator). The re-addition of religions alone is what sparked my interest in the game, and I have to say, I’m really enjoying it....

Last year, Koei decided that having two different franchises based around the same engine and premise wasn’t enough. It needed a third, and thus it was thatDynasty WarriorsandSamurai Warriorswere merged into a whole “new” IP,Warriors Orochi. The premise was simple — a demon bent time and space to bring together the soldiers of Sanguo era China and Sengoku period Japan. Cao Cao starts hanging out with Nobunaga, Zhao Yun and Yukimura Sanada become best friends, dogs marry cats and button mashing shenanigans ensue....

Release date get! It’s two more days until the bigDragon’s Crownreveal from Atlus, but it seems as if Famitsu has gotten the jump on them, as the game has been revealed for a July 25th release. Right now we don’t have exact pricing details on the game outside of the MSRP of ¥ 8,190 — hopefully there will be a cross-buy promotion for the PS3 and Vita versions. The Japanese voice cast has also been confirmed, and it is stellar!...
