Man vs. Wildis a ridiculous idea for a television show. The nutty outdoor adventurer Bear Grylls (his name is “Bear,” folks!) gets dropped into a hopeless in-the-middle-of-nowhere situation, and he’s forced to find food and shelter to survive. Of course, “to survive” is used loosely here — he’s being followed by a camera person, who presumably has a way to contact help at any moment. Back to my point — a ridiculous television show has given birth to what may be a ridiculous game....

Jimmie Johnson’s Anything with an Enginelooks to be an interesting spin on the kart racing scene. Here we have the first character reveal for the game, former cement worker Cinderblock. He appears to be made entirely out of concrete and can fire cinder blocks from from the front of his mixer as well as drop concrete abutments behind him. I have to say, I’m intrigued. I’ve never been much of a kart racer, but that’s because I’m absolutely horrible at them and have no patience for the rubber banding that always seems to plague the genre....

New game announced at 20th anniversary event Reports spilling out from Konami’sMetal Gear Solid20th anniversary celebration have shed light on what’s currently being calledMetal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. According to the excited chatter, it’s an open-world game running, unsurprisingly, off the FOX Engine. First artwork shows Big Boss in his younger days, posing in full stealth mode with some Sam Fisher-flavored eyewear. He’s also sporting a “Militaires Sans Frontières” patch, calling back to his fun soldier club inPeace Walker....

But it will retain a 10 percent share in the team Nintendo of America plans to sell the bulk of its interest in Major League Baseball’s Seattle Mariners and the team’s cable network to other members of the ownership group, the parties announced today. The company acquired a 55 percent stake in the club in 1992 at the behest of former Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi, who did so as a gesture of goodwill to Washington residents (where Nintendo of America is based) after the previous ownership group attempted to relocate the team to Tampa Bay when securing a new stadium in Seattle became too difficult....

That title is such a tease, man ThePokemonanime has been running for 19 seasons — wow, I must have missed a few here and there. Series three of theX & Ysaga is coming soon, and will be titled “XYZ,” continuing the adventures in the Kalos region. XYZwill premire on Cartoon Network on July 19, 2025 at 7:00 AM ET. It came out last October in Japan. At this point people have probably given up on aPokemon Z, but since the latest generation was my favorite, I’m still holding out hope....
