Puttering around Nintendo has released the Golf mode forWii Sports Clubto the Nintendo eShop, letting players hit the motion-controlled links. As with priorWii Sports Clubgames, you can purchase Golf outright for $9.99 or purchase a day pass granting access for twenty-four hours (which also allows for playing priorSports Clubreleases, Bowling and Tennis in that time). I love the a la carte pricing model for this. Golf and Bowling were the only two games I really enjoyed from all of theWii Sportsline, but I wouldn’t have ever bought an entire game simply to play those modes....

Remaster coming to PC next year Mere days ago, I hoped out loud that 2015 would become theyear of clayfor videogames, and now there’s an announcement for a remaster ofClayFighter. Shame it won’t be out until 2016. Interplay and Drip Drop Games (who?) are promising “the best of all previousClayFightertitles” as well as “remastered audio and high resolution visuals.” Also, curiously, new mechanics: double jumping, air dashing, counters, and reversals. Claytality moves return, though perhaps they shouldn’t, and there will be 20+ characters (including Earthworm Jim and Boogerman) and stages....
