PC Port Report: Watch Dogs 2

Where did the underscore go? The PC port forWatch_Dogs, on release, barely managed to run. It was missing graphical features found on consoles and looked nothing like the initial trailer shown in 2012. Not much of what Ubisoft had claimed about the port was present and an “extreme” texture option was locked away behind code. It took months of patches to finally get into a working state, but it still haunts the publisher as one of the worst bait and switches of its history....

Process of Elimination is a curious mix of murder mystery and strategy

Tile-based deductions It’s been quite a time for both strategy games and narrative-driven adventures over the last few years. So when the demo for NIS America’sProcess of Eliminationpopped up the other day, its premise grabbed my attention. On the surface, it’s a blend of the two, combining puzzling strategy with a traditional visual novel format. After playing the roughly two-to-three hour demo, my curiosity is even more piqued. WhatProcess of Eliminationactually plays like is a little difficult to dissect at first, but that loosely knotted-together genre blend is what makes it compelling too....

Resident Evil 7’s new DLC is just what I wanted

A continuation of the story Capcom is lining up twoResident Evil 7add-ons for December and I cannot wait. Both of them take place after the main story. Not a Herowill send players after Lucas Baker, so expect plenty of traps and taunting. It’ll also let us punch the shit out of the Molded. That’s real good. Meanwhile,End of Zoeintroduces a new character, Joe, who Capcom calls a “mysterious outdoorsman.” The trailer itself implies much more than that, but I’ll leave you to it....
