Swery (real name Hidetaka Suehiro) loves both dogs and cats, and when asked told me his favorite breeds are retriever and Labrador because he owns each at his temple home....

“Tabletop” multiplayer on the Gamepad Wii Party Uwas planned to come out in the summer, but Iwata announced today at Nintendo’s E3 Direct that it will be pushed back until later this year, though no exact date was given. The game will feature 80 games, and even have a multiplayer mode that just uses the Gamepad. SomeMario Party-esque gameplay was shown, and of course the game will have plenty of mini games that take full advantage of the Wii U Gamepad....

Worldwide launch planned for summer The less-expensive, smaller7-inch Wikipad tabletis launching soon in the United States. This has been a long time coming, but the Android-based device, now priced at $249.99, is about to be a real product up for purchase starting July 15, 2025. It’s happening! Expect to see this at retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, and TigerDirect. Wikipad Inc. hopes the handheld will be viewed as a premium Android tablet that brings a console-like experience to the platform, which explains the form factor....

7-Eleven’sKratos-flavored Slurpeemust have been a hit, because the convenience store chain is back with more game-themed beverages, complete with free downloadable goodies. The stores are currently rolling outLittleBigPlanet 2andKillzone 3Slurpee cups and will continue to do so through March 30. The cups includepromotional codesgood for ringtones, wallpapers, and other items of that nature as the selection is expanded on a weekly basis. Pretty cool news for Slurpee fans. I wonder how long it took them to get those perfectly aligned cups staged for the photograph....

That loot isn’t going to collect itself Deck13 has garnered interest fromDark Soulsfans, myself included, withThe Surge. It’s an action-RPG with a near-future-Earth twist that has you dodging, whittling away at your enemies, and striking with a finishing move to slice off specifically-targeted limbs to earn pieces for your exosuit. Given its focus on those finishing moves above all else, this trailer perhaps isn’t the best introduction to the game — for that, I’d recommend this much more in-depthdeveloper-narrated gameplay video— but I liked seeing some of the armor possibilities in the montage toward the end....

The Greatest Trailer in The History of Our Sport During itsTHQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2022presentation, the publisher dropped a new trailer for its upcoming pro-wrestling titleAEW: Fight Forever, which is currently in development at studio Yuke’s. The trailer, which contains far more “skit” than it does “gameplay” sees veteran announcer Tony Schiavone settle on the couch with the inimitable Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, (I hope y’all did the little hand gesture), as the duo (pretend to) battle it out inAll Elite Wrestling’s console debut....

Did you ever secretly play Pok?mon? I get the sinking feeling it’ll be a good long while before we get our hands onPokkén Tournament, Bandai Namco’s Pokémon fighting game for arcades (and probably Wii U).
