Nintendo says that starting October 23, a new Wii console bundle will be available. It will containNew Super Mario Bros. Wiigame, a specialSuper Mario Galaxysoundtrack CD, a black Wii Remote Plus controller and Nunchuk controller. The new bundle will be priced at $149.99. This new US model seems to be related to that European one that doesn’t have backwards support for GameCube games. Nintendo says: The newly configured black Wii console sits horizontally rather than vertically and is designed exclusively for Wii game play and entertainment experiences (Nintendo GameCube™ software and accessories are not supported)....

The ratings board has a placeholder launch date, so the timing is still up in the air, but the 3DS will stick around for a while yet....

What’s more, Rockstar Games is working on a new project for this fiscal year (meaning it’ll release in March 2015 or before). What could the game be? Well, E3 isn’t too far off and we’ll likely hear before long, but I can’t see this being anything other thanGrand Theft Auto Vfor Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (and hopefully PC too) given the timing....
