Jagex, the Cambridge, UK-based studio behind such browser-based games asRuneScape, is bringing the metal-on-metal war ofTransformersto web browsers with an upcoming free-to-play MMO,Transformers Universe. Game industry veteran Paul Steed, whose work spans from bringingWing Commanderinto 3D to helping launch the original Xbox, was announced dead this morning byJace Hall Show’s blog. I lol’d when I saw how many gamers were up in arms over Sony’sremoval of the Other OS optionin the last PS3 firmware update.
