SEGA has announced that the popular World War II Strategy RTSCompany of Heroesis coming to the Nintendo Switch. Feral Interactive is handling the port which will be officially namedCompany of Heroes Collection. Unfortunately, the collection does not includeCompany of Heroes 2orCompany of Heroes 3, but instead will feature the originalCoHand both of its expansions; Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. While no specific release date was provided, the release did confirm a release for this Autumn....

Theprudish Nick Chester first informedus ofX-Blades, a new action title from Southpeak Games due for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Main character Ayumi is still as bare skinned as ever, with the kind of carefully draped rags that a pervert could merely wish away. Southpeak Games promises “beautiful animation” and “relentless, high speed gameplay” involving the use of Ayumi’s pistol blades and magical spells. There will also be anime cutscenes, which you can’t sniff at, really....

New staff and resources for Canadian teams Square Enix has announced plans to expand it’s biggest non-Japan divisions, namely Square Enix Montreal and Eidos Montreal. The expansion will bring new facilities to the studios as well as open up approximately 100 new jobs on the workforce. Eidos Montreal, whose most recent release is third-person adventureShadow of the Tomb Raider– is to receive extra space in its 55,000 square-foot offices, which will include the addition of a new motion capture studio, a sound mixing/voice recording studio....

The bots are not chatty Last week, Square Enix announced a remastered version of a classic adventure game,The Portopia Serial Murder Case, that would be a showcase for its AI tech. The tech preview is out now, and well, it’s not going over well. For context,The Portopia Serial Murder Caseis a classic adventure game from the ’80s, authored byDragon Quest‘s Yuji Horii. It’s an actual store The fact that the trophy shop was bland on the 3DS version ofSuper Smash Bros.isn’t really worth complaining about for me, but this new screenshot of the Wii U version is definitely a vast improvement. Arena-based Halo is back, baby When we reviewedHalo 4, we really liked it. If you were to ask me personally, I was not enthusiastic about the game at all.
