Destiny 2 Episode Echoesis the first ever Episode to hit the game and will be a landmark moment for fans as they jump in to explore the new narrative that’ll be the standard for Year 10. However, before you can play, there’s going to be some server downtime. NoDestiny 2update goes live without at least a little server maintenance and downtime. It’s just a part of the game because it’s always online, and developer Bungie needs some way to be able to add new files to it without players getting in the way....

Edgesays that Ubisoft Montreal are using ‘target boxes’ created with the next Xbox’s specs in mind. A source tells Edge that delivery of the first genuine dev kits is expected to reach studios before Christmas. They also say that all signs point to the next Microsoft console arriving at retail in late 2012. These boxes are PCs using off-the-shelf components, and it is believed that AMD has supplied the GPU chip....

Now available after release Doomhas landed and it’s actually doing well in the user review department, despite Bethesda holding back review copies. Another big get for Xbox Xbox Game Pass owners will have a new avenue for their dungeon-pilfering needs next month, as Tuque Games announced thatDungeons & Dragons: Dark Allianceis coming to Xbox Game Pass. This newDark Alliancewill be available through Microsoft’s subscription service on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and phones and tablets via Cloud Gaming all on June 22, the day it launches. The newDark Allianceis, of course, a dungeon-crawling action game that you can play with up to four other players....

It appears that this year, once again, Nintendo was most assuredly the place to be. The “online pass” system was designed to combat used sales and make money from those who buy secondhand games. Except in the case ofF.E.A.R 3, in which Warner Bros. apparently got so excited and giddy over the idea of the system that it forgot one important detail — giving players the ability to buy a pass if they get a used copy. Warner Bros. appears to have overlooked the PlayStation Store when it comes to offering a downloadable pass....

All that mediocrity for the price of nothing! Fable IIIis currently available to download for free on Xbox Live. People initially believed it to be some sort of error, but Microsoft has officially recognized it. Go download the game that promises so much, and delivers very little of it!
