Harada is happy Tekken 7, which was released back in 2015 on arcades, mind (before hitting consoles in 2016), has been selling like hotcakes pretty much since it hit the scene. It’s become a staple of EVOand helped putTekkenback on the map, hosting all sorts of crazy crossover characters like Akuma, Geese Howard, Walking Dead’s Negan andFinal Fantasy XV‘s Noctis. Yeah, it’s kind of wild. The game doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down, as co-director andTekkenboss Katsuhiro Harada just reported today that the game has sold five million copies: a one million sale increase fromthe number we had in mid-2019....
