If you’ve ever stumbled across aSkill Fruit Tree, you’ve likely picked yourself up some Skill Fruit. This bizarre-looking fruit can be used to teach your Pals newActive Skills, even ones they regularly wouldn’t have. There are nine different types of Skill Fruit, one for each of the Pal type, but you’re not limited to teaching a Skill to a Pal of the same type – through experimentation, I’ve found no limit to which Pals can learn which Skill, at least for the time being....

Shame PC gamers are having to wait so long to get some of the industry’s bigger games, likeAssassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. At least for this individual title, it’s not too far off: March 17 is the official day. Over on Steam, there’s a fancy-pantsDigital Deluxe Editionfor pre-purchasers — and, naturally, the system specs are listed. Single-player maps, characters for multiplayer, behind-the-scenes content, and the 22-song soundtrack are a few of the more notable selling points....

I’ve been to a lot of videogame conventions this year. From the relatively small BitSummit to the monstrosity that is gamescom, I’ve pretty much seen them all. I didn’t think this past weekend’s trip to Las Vegas would result in me saying this, but for better and for worse, I think Sony’s PlayStation Experience was my favorite convention of the year. Part of what makes that so surprising is that the event itself was surprising....

If you’re intrigued but don’t want to commit, a free seven-day trial is also available. PlayStation Now subscription service launches in the UK, costs £12....

That trailer music, though Claymation in games will always catch my eye. Ever since I was suckered into thinkingClayfighterwas any good as a child, it has stood out as something that takes a huge amount of effort butlooks amazing when done well. Naturally, the art is what got me to click on theRed GoddessKickstartervideo. Then afamiliar tunestarted to play and I was hooked. You might be as well. Gameplay inRed Goddessdoes not appear to do anything particularly groundbreaking....

The mutator update is here “Get back intoRocket League” just jumped to the top of my gaming to-do list. With the latest update on PC and PlayStation 4, mutators are in! There are a bunch of specifics to dig through — and I’ve included the full patch notes below — but in general, you may expect customization options for things like game speed, gravity, and ball type, weight, size, and bounciness....
