The AI strikes back

Platinum Games is back for round two of their DLC offerings forMetal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as Blade Wolf is set for a May 9th release in Japan, with an inevitable international date to follow soon.

An international price point hasn’t been officially announced yet, but it seems as if this will cost $10 — the same as the first DLC. It’s hard to tell from the screenshots, but it seems as if the DLC will deal with the same Blade Wolf model as the core game, in a flashback of sorts that deals with his time with the evil Desperado regime.

After the fairly disappointingJetstream Sam add-onI have higher hopes for Blade Wolf, given the fact that right off the bat, it’s obvious that he’ll have his own unique playstyle. I just hope his adventure doesn’t almost entirely consist of re-used assets — because based on the screenshots, I see a lot of the same areas.
