Back in November of 2008 we showed offa trailerfor a fan-madeMega Manmovie that looked ridiculously awesome. Things went quiet after that for us here at Dtoid except for anall too brief interviewat last year’s MAGFest. Well, leave it toMAGFestto bring the awesome back yet again. The film was test-screened there this year and the audiences came out glowing, leading filmmaker Eddie Lebron to announce that the version seen there was practically the final cut and a premiere would be coming within the next 3-5 months, followed by the film’s release online (for free) two weeks after that.
In a poston the film’s siteLebron said that he was amazed by the positive buzz the film got coming out of MAGFest. In its current iteration the movie runs 109 minutes, so this isn’t just some short little clip, it’s a full blown movie. If you may’t tell from the trailer a lot of effort went into this, and if Lebron is telling the truth about how much people liked it at MAGFest I can’t wait to see the entire thing. The way I see it, if a guy can make Mega Man’s goofy blue outfit look cool he has to have some skill.
