Tucked away inthe descriptionof theleaked video ofDark Cloud‘s PS4 portwas some more information about thePS2 emulation on PS4, and it is sure to rustle some Jimmies.
“PS2 Classics and PS2-formatted discs are incompatible with the PS4 system.”
Translation: If you want to play a PS2 game on the PS4, you’re going to have to buy it again.
No word on pricing of upcoming PS2 ports, but I’m sure we will find out as soon since none of this information was intended to be public just yet.
