Don’t forget your spokey-dokeys

In a delightful piece of surprise news, the Double Fine publishedKnights and Bikesis to be adapted into an animated TV series, courtesy of veteran British studio Tiger Aspect Productions.

Knights and Bikes,which launched last monthon PS4 and PC, is a charming childhood adventure which follows two friends, Ness and Demelza, as they ride around the coastal village of Penfurzy on a bizarre treasure-hunting escapade. Set in a stylised version of 1980’s Britain, Ness and Demelza ride from one weird encounter to the next, getting into scrapes, meeting strange inhabitants, and learning a little about themselves and the world around them, guided to glory by friendly goose Captain Honkers.

GivenKnights and Bikescurious visual style, fun cast of characters, and off-the-wall humour, it seems custom-designed for television. Here’s hoping that the TV show will capture everything that makes the video game so unique and appealing.
