Japan is seeing the pair matched up at theaters. Square Enix reworked some footage fromFinal Fantasy XIIIin 3D to be shown in the previews before Avatar in Japan, at Toho Cinemas. There will be two minutes of eye-busting CG, which, from what I’ve seen so far, actually gives Cameron’s film a run for its money. And I’m sure the 3D will make it even better.
