Final Fantasy XIVcontinues its tribe quests with the Arkasodara, and in Patch 6.55 you’ll have new Tribal Alliance quests to complete. With that in mind, it’s time to catch up onEndwalker’stribe dailies. Here’s how to unlockArkasodara Tribal Quests— once known as Beast Tribes — and the preliminary requirements.
As a reminder, previousFFXIVAllied Tribal quests required max reputation rank with all tribes to unlock them. If you want to begin the Allied Tribal questline inEndwalker’sPatch 6.55, you’ll need to unlock and reach the Sworn Rank with the Arkasodara, as mentioned here. The same goes for theLoporritsand theOmicron.
FFXIV’s Arkasodara, at a glance
You’ll find the Arkasodara within the idyllic surroundings ofThavnair,with the ‘base camp’ of the tribe justnorthwest of Yedlihmad. They’re a tribe for your battle jobs, so if you’ve got any jobs below level 90, their quests are an excellent way to help level them in preparation for the level cap increase coming withDawntrail.
Unlocking the Arkasodara Tribe quests
As with the Beast Tribes in any expansion,there are some requirementsthat you must meet to begin your adventures with the Arkasodara.
After completing these three requirements, you’re able to now set out and unlock a new questline to improve your relationship with the Tribe itself.
Hippos Born to Run
Head to Thavnair and talk toKancana (X25.3 Y31.2)to pick up the first Arkasodara Tribal quest,“Hippos Born to Run”. She’ll tell you about herds of hippos seen on the roads of Thavnair and ask you to look into the matter. In order to do this, you’ll have totalk to the residents of Yedlihmad.
Once you’ve spoken to everyone, find and talk toTrna (X16.2 Y25.5), before headingback to Kancana. After a cutscene, return toTrna (now at X23.8 Y33.2), and you’ll drop into a Hippo Cart, following her along a predetermined path.
Speak with her again at the end of this path and take control of the Hippo Cart, this time you’ll actually be able to drive it back to Yedlihmad. Once there,find Kancanain her usual spot, and she’ll send you back toTrna (X19.8 Y27.8)in the Arkasodara base camp for the final conversation.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll have access to the Arkasodara Beast Tribe quests. Future quests can be picked up by talking toMaru (X20.1 Y27.8).
