The Pawn Shop guy, aka Mick Lubbin, is creating a fair bit of trouble for manySchedule 1players, as there have been reports about him missing from the store.

It’s unclear as to what exactly causes the problem, and many players have different experiences to tell. But this guide will point out certain scenarios that could cause Mick to be missing from his duties and what you can do to solve the problem potentially.

Mick in Schedule 1

Schedule 1 Pawn Shop guy missing fixes

The Pawn Shop is one of the two new POIs added toSchedule 1as part of thev0.3.4 update. You can interact and negotiate with Mick to sell items you no longer require. For that to work, however, Mick has to be present in the store.

Is it time?

ThePawn Shopis open between6am and 6pm. It can take the shop to open a bit late than the designated timings. I have tested it myself, and it happens randomly. This might be the humane part of the game after all, but give Mick a bit of time to open the shop.

There is no place for criminals

If the police are chasing you, the Pawn Shop will be out of access. You’ll have to evade the cops before you can negotiate with Mick successfully. If you’re unsure how to do so, make sure to check out ourbest tricks to escape the cops inSchedule 1. Remember to avoid getting in trouble with the law if you’re planning to sell something at the Pawn Shop.

Mick remembers

While you’re able to negotiate for an higher price from Mick, he will get angry if the talks break down. To escape, run to a safe distance (use askateboardto make things easier). If you decide to go back, you’ll get a message that Mick isn’t going to deal with you. You’ll have to sleep the night before he will be ready to talk with you.

This isn’t exactly a scenario of Mick being missing, but it’s going to stop you temporarily from dealing with him to sell your goods. The best job is to negotiate modestly, and not charge an extortionate amount from him, which will increase the chances for your potential transaction to fail.

Pawn Shop in Schedule 1

SinceSchedule 1is in early access, bugs and glitches are expected. A simple reload of your last save will solve most bugs and glitches, including Mick being missing from his shop. You’ll lose a bit of in-game progression, but it should make the game work normally. If you’re using the beta branch, converting to the full build can also help.
