There are a lot of fish inFields of Mistria, all of which have their own specific spawn locations. Some of them even have specific weather conditions on top of this, but the four legendary fish are the most specific of all.
Each season has its own specific legendary fish, but you’ll need to put some work in before you may even dream of catching them. For starters, you’ll need to reach level 30 fishing, which is no walk in the park. Fishing seems to be the slowest skill to level inFields of Mistria, so you’ll be getting plenty of use out of your rod.
Second, you’ll need to unlock the ‘Legendary’Perk at Caldarus’ Statueon your farm. This is a level 30 perk and will cost you 80Essenceto unlock.
Having done those things, you can finally get around to hunting down these legendary fish. Thankfully, you don’t have to do this needlessly – just like with birthday or events, you’ll get a notification at the start of the day saying ‘A legendary fish is nearby’. When you see this, it’s time to set out on the hunt.
Spring – Cherry Fish
Ponds / Wind
If you see the notification and it’s spring, your legendary fish will be the Cherry Fish. This small pink fish can be found in the ponds of Mistria as long as it’s a windy day in Spring, so if the cherry blossoms are blowing across your screen, you’re in with a chance of getting the Cherry Fish.
Summer – Lightning Fish
Rivers / Rain
The Lightning Fish is possibly the hardest of all the legendary fish to catch, purely because it’s a river fish and, therefore, has the most possible spawn locations. The Lightning Fish is a medium sized fish, and will only appear when it’s raining in the Summer.
Rivers can be found in the following areas, and you may need to check all of them for the Lightning Fish:
Fall – Leaf Fish
Rivers / Wind
The Leaf Fish is another that can be found in the rivers around Mistria, so you’ll need to check in all the same locations that you did to find the Lightning Fish. Thankfully, windy days in the Fall are much more common than rainy days in the Summer, so you’re more likely to get multiple chances to find this small fish.
Winter – Snow Fish
Ocean / Snow
Of all the legendary fish, the Snow Fish is the only one that spawns in the Ocean. It’s a medium sized fish, and you’ll only be able to fish it out of the waters at the Beach if there is snow falling.
It goes without saying that you’ll be spending a lot of time at the Beach if you’re looking for a Snow Fish, but make sure you don’t forget about the small island to the west of the Beach itself.
