As video games continue to look more and more realistic, we are seeing an equally impressive trend of games that remind us of a bygone era. These games look, sound, and play like those from the era of the original Nintendo Entertainment System or Super Nintendo, but take advantage of the leaps and bounds made since then.Sea of Stars, developed by Sabotage Studio, looks to be one such game.

Our resident editor Andrea Shearon (who has hands-on experience)estimates thatSea of Starswill take roughly 20-25 hours to beat for most folks.
According to HowLongToBeat, it would seem the main story will take players around 23 hours total to complete. If you are a completionist, and like to get everything you’re able to from the game, it’ll take you around 34 hours. So, you will have plenty of content to enjoy upon startingSea of Stars.
If you’re in a rush, it looks like some players have been able to complete the main story in 20 hours and 36 minutes. In that same vein, they were able to fully complete the game in 30 hours and 21 minutes.
What is Sea of Stars about?
Sea of Starscenters on a pair of Children of the Solstice who must defeat a wicked alchemist known as The Fleshmancer. It is a turn-based RPG that removes the need for archaic institutions such as random encounters, traditional RPG grinding, and transitions between the overworld and battle scenarios.
