Techland’s first-person fantasy slash-em-upHellraidhas my attention with this new trailer, which features zombie knights and skeleton warriors dying by the bucketload.

It’s being compared toHexen, and that may be valid — it’s first-person fantasy, with magic wands and plenty of violence. The swarming enemies and apparent emphasis on boundless combat gives it a bit of a 90s vibe, too.

Of course, it could easily just becomeDead Islandwith surcoats, but even that may not be a bad thing.

The game’s out this year, and we’ll doubtless see more of it at E3.
