Beyond Fruit Ninja
Halfbrick has been around basically since the beginning of the revolution of the mobile market. WithFruit NinjaandJetpack Joyride, it cemented its status as a respected developer, and even dabbled in the console arena a few times (Raskullsis one of my personal favorite XBLA games).
Now, they’re entering in the global publishing business, starting off with Enfeel’sBirzzle Fever. It’s billed as an “extremely fast” arcade game, tasking players with popping birds in unique formations for points (it’s a tapping “match 3” basically) — combos, online leaderboards, and unlocks are promised.
Hopefully it’ll end up as more than just another sleazy free-to-play game to throw on the pile since Halfbrick is lending their name to it.
