Back at E3we sawHalf-Minute Heroand drooled. It’s like a standard role-playing game, but sped up 100 times normal speed. Those that bitch about RPG game play length, bitch no more. Quests are 30 seconds. Battles are are 2 seconds. You’ll gain levels in the blink of an eye. The whole thing is done in classic 8-bit graphics, heavy on the pixels, but you’ll be moving so fast that you won’t even notice.

The wait to play this game is nearly over, as XSEED announces that a demo is coming our way on September 10th. In it, you’ll be working to fight characters, level up, heal, and talk to villagers, all while working against a countdown clock. This is actually the first of two demos, says XSEED, though we have no date for the second one. We’re sure it will be some time before the October release date of the game, though.
