Kapool tag teams are go!
Despite havingjust announced11 Mobile Suits in this week’s issue of Famitsu, Namco has no intention of slowing down the reveals forGundam Versusthis week.
A total of 12 more Mobile Suits were confirmed by an update to the game’s Japanese website. The additions this time are:
The majority of the Mobile Suits in this batch should be no surprise to veterans of the series, with most of this selection having been a part of previous games. The biggest surprise however is that there are now two Kapools on the roster, as in previous games both Kapools would share a single slot and had a tag team mechanic that behaved like many tag team fighters such asMarvel vs. Capcom.
The roster is now up to 94 Mobile Suits before DLC. Given the number of missing big names, such as Gundam Virtue and the Rozen Zulu, along with the reveal of additional non-animated works appearing earlier this week, it’s highly likely the total size of the roster will cross the 100 mark before release.
Gundam Versusreleases this Fall for North America and Europe, and July 6 for Japan and Asia on PlayStation 4.
