A shadowy teaser image for the latestAwesomenautscharacter made the rounds recently, and now we have the full reveal courtesy of Ronimo Games. The newest addition, Gnaw, is a bitey, acid-spitting critter that was trained by his “Cosmic biker pirate masters.” He’ll join the roster on PC for free soon.
Beyond that, the game is getting a minor update with some tweaks and fixes later today on Steam. Of all the post-launch characters, I have a feeling Gnaw will best fit my preferred play style. Those seedlings and acid pools look infuriating, which is what I love to see; it brings out the worst in all of us.
If you’re attending gamescom, this new content will be playable at Valve’s booth (Hall 7.1, stand C030). Otherwise, grab the game on Steam (or any version, really). It’s still terrific.
