Not as much like Sonic as people think

Galaxy Trail’s fantasticFreedom Planetis coming to Wii U on August 3, according tothe Nintendo eShop page.No price has currently been announced, but the game costs £10.99/$14.99 on PC.

We’ve been told for a while now that the Wii U version would be coming “before the end of 2015”, so getting it to us five months earlier than expected is pretty impressive!

A lot of people compareFreedom Planetto the olderSonic the Hedgehoggames. While I can certainly see the resemblance,Freedom Planetfeels slower and often focuses more on combat and platforming rather than simply the momentumSonichad.

Still, if you’ve been longing for a return to those MegaDrive days,Freedom Planetis totally worth looking in to.
