EA has been ramping up its music release for the past few years since launching EA Recordings in order to release games’ soundtracks on their own. Thelatest threeto hit the market will be for their three biggest games coming out in the next months:Mass Effect 2(Jan. 18),Battlefield: Bad Company 2(Feb. 1) andDante’s Inferno(Feb. 8). It’s most likely that all three albums will be released as digital downloads via iTunes.
As far as the releases go they all seem pretty intriguing.Mass Effect 2‘s will be a two disc release with 27 tracks and over two hours of music. The score will be by Jack Wall who has composed music for theMystfranchise andSplinter Cell.Bad Company 2is a little less exciting with only 11 tracks and just 20 minutes of music.

I’m probably most excited forDante’s Infernoas Garry Schyman is composing the music. He did the amazing, moving and impressive score forBioShock. It’s one of my favorite scores ever, and if he’s up to that standard forInfernothen the game might be worth buying just for that. This sucker will be a two disc release as well with 41 tracks and over two hours of music.
