While this technically isn’t our first glimpse at the in-game action ofDead Space 2— that award goes to this blurry, yet awesomefootage from PAX East— it might as well be. In it, we get to see a couple of new tricks, like Isaac’s ability to hover with some fancy jetboots.
The puking Necromorph shows up too, as does a boss enemy that looks like it crawled out of aSilent Hillgame. I don’t know what its deal is, but I will say it already tops all ofDead Space‘s bosses in terms of sheer what-the-eff creepiness. Could this beast be related to thesestrapping young fellows?
Also, notice how everything is covered in a layer of ice. You might need to catch theHD versionof this video to actually see it, though.I need more, dammit!
