Cyberpunk’s staying home

Leading up to this Thursday’s Game Awards in Los Angeles, there are two types of speculative stories coming out. There is “Some game is probably getting announced there,” which is the case witha newAlientitle. And there is “This game isn’t being shown there,” as is the case withwhatever Rocksteady’s up to. This is the latter.

CD Projekt Red has gone on-record to state thatCyberpunk 2077will not be present at The Game Awards 2018. It’s a stock denial, complete with “We’ll share more when we’re ready.” Here’s the message from the game’s community lead:

So, I don’t know, temper your expectations or whatever. All the games can’t be at every show. It’d be sheer pandemonium and 10-hour live streams. No thanks! All the bloggers would die.
