DC Comic’s figure line, DC Direct, will bemaking a lineof figures from the wildly successful Sony game seriesRatchet and Clank, according to an announcement at ComicsPRO 2009. The above photo are all the prototypes they’ve currently got lined up.
There’s no word surrounding a price or date, all the figures look like they’ve been pulled right out of the game. Ratchet, Dr. Nefarious, and Captain Quark all look well done, although I would have preferred it if they managed to find some way to cover up the joins on Captain Quark — they stick out way too much, and make me think of him just as an action figure.
Out of the whole line, I’d actually be most interested in picking up all the sidekicks instead of the main characters. It’s not that I root for the underdog or anything, but I feel like they’d make for some great additions to photoshoots over on Tomopop.
